love letters (2025)

Inspired by the lost art form of the love letter, this series explores communication beyond video calls, text messages, and social media. love letters brings the lost Filipino script of Baybayin into dialogue with a remittance note, an emblem of filial piety, devotion, and distance, gradually transforming into a golden ticket home.

Each letter, each word, each phrase becomes a bittersweet reflection on sacrifice, love, and the enduring hope for a better future.
